First custom shot posted. Will try and do more throughout the week.
Ooo my Eleanor appears in another game! Shame they never get her front stripe right.
Sorry, was in a rush! Feel free to reupload your shot Antti-san.
There's a standard and premium version?
What's wrong with the image already used?
I think I've seen all the different cop cars roaming around at some stage with the exception of the Monaco which I've only seen in Movie Challenges.

Just as I predicted, this has now been released as DLC for the new Outlaws Vehicle Pack. Non playable version previously in the game:
The colour doesn't look as authentic in the render as it did in the gameplay videos from E3.

Better picture up now! Ooooo!
Martin Edmondson just told me this was the same model as the taxi in Stuntman, which was also used as a crushable car in the Stunt Arena according to the designer. Looks like if we ever have any vehicle queries about Driver or Stuntman we now have a contact! -- Last edit: 2011-07-02 14:05:38
Great fun to drive! | ||
Replaced with a shot from its comfort zone in the new Monte Carlo DLC
Updated with an official shot.
(archived) | It took almost half a decade but we got our answer
How do you get these? | ||
The vehicle designer has confirmed it's a Citroen ZX with Maestro side-scallop detail.
I asked, and the Oldsmobile isn't based on any specific movie car.
No harm including it as a thumbnail if there's an extra detail you want to highlight. Yours are also a higher res than the original shots. -- Last edit: 2011-06-21 12:33:06
Can you get a shot of one with the bonnet on like with the other Metador added? (I presume it's the same car)
For some reason it's in both, and the 70's version is locked - I thought my download wasn't working!

I'll be impressed if it actually was based on that film since it doesn't appear to be well known! It's probably for The Hitcher, though. -- Last edit: 2011-06-13 19:33:07
Wow, I am impressed you found a car chase film that I haven't seen before!
The lucky swines. | ||
Argh, so envious! If this had Gran Turismo's handling and worked with Logitech wheels I would probably get it. Any more info from the Forza E3 event?
Just refresh it. |
